Our philosophy and our goal is to create gardens that are unique and respect every aspect of the client’s dream through nature and art.

Drawing from palettes of color ranging from passionate purples and hot oranges and reds, to soothing blues and subtle taupes, we believe the perfect garden is a balance of color, movement, texture, aroma, spaces and shapes. The perfect garden should reflect the client’s personality as well as the design elements in their lives, architecture of their home, and native landscape surrounds.

It’s exciting to walk through a dream with the home owner in the conceptual phase and it’s just as exciting for the designer to live in that dream while they move the project forward. We pride ourselves in working closely with our clients every step of the way in order to ensure that the dream that comes to fruition is still the client’s in the end.

We at TBL are seriously excited and playfully serious about gardening. In our spare time driving to a job site or barbequeing with our families, we talk about things like: finding that plant we’ve only seen in our dreams; or what the perfect urn is for a water feature; or where can we find the rock in that photo; or how can we light that gorgeous old oak to show it’s beauty at night; or how fabulous a garden could be on that slope over there. We respect all aspects that are involved in the process of gardening and feel lucky to be part of our clients’ lives, that they hire our hands to bring color, whimsy and elegance into their lives.

We have over thirty-five years professional experience in landscaping and an inexhaustible thirst for a new challenge based on the desire to find solutions. TBL has a large network of professionals we turn to for advice and information. When we hire a subcontractor for services beyond our scope, we work in the trenches with them to ensure continuity of decisions and responsibility. Our goal is to never lose sight of the client’s goal. The love and pride of completing a job to the expectations of the client is what fuels, comforts and verifies us.
